Our Dyslexia Reading Tools Help Your Child Succeed in School and Life

Parents play a key role in helping children learn to read. Our proven instructor-directed approach relies on parents playing a part in our dyslexia treatment for kids. Your child can become a competent, enthusiastic reader, thanks to our dyslexia reading tools and one-on-one instruction, without ever having to leave home.

A Parents’ Guide to Getting Started with Dyslexia 101

The starting point to get help for your child is to get them evaluated for reading skills. Our assessment answers your question about whether your child has dyslexia.

Our one-hour online assessment:

  • Is lead by one of our trained dyslexia coaches
  • Can determine with 98.6% accuracy whether your child has dyslexia, and to what extent.
  • Uses methodology in practice for more than 25 years.
  • Has been standardized with thousands of children.
  • Can predict future reading failure in children as young as 4 years old, who show early signs of dyslexia in kids.

The assessment includes 14 guided modules with instructions, examples, and practice trials, so you always know what to do. Each module covers a different skill necessary for reading, and you can pause the assessment at any time and pick up where you left off when you return.

After our coach and your child complete the assessment, you will receive an in-depth analysis of your child’s reading skills, with a report that explains to what extent dyslexia affects your child’s ability. This report is suitable for sharing with your child’s teachers, school counselor, and IEP or 504 plan team.

Our Dyslexia Treatment for Kids: Virtual Reading Instruction

If your child has dyslexia, the Dyslexia 101 Reading Instruction program is the perfect solution to get your child on the right path. Our dyslexia reading tools provide fundamental skills training necessary for your child to become a competent reader over time.

Our program is billed in blocks of 10 sessions. The child responds best when there are 4 to 5 sessions per week, but that is not always possible. After the first 10 sessions, our Dyslexia 101 trained coach will have a better idea about how many sessions your child may need.  The final determination on the number of sessions is when your child becomes a competent reader. In our experience that usually happens between 4 to 8 months with some children taking longer. The program includes:

  • 5 to 5 virtual instruction sessions per week
  • 1 monthly parent update
  • Unlimited parent-to-instructor email communication

Once enrolled, your child’s reading instructor schedules the instruction sessions with you and keeps you informed of your child’s strengths and weaknesses, plus the actionable plan to turn your child into an able reader.
