Dyslexia Resources for Parents

Our Dyslexia Reading Tools Help Your Child Succeed in School and Life

Parents play a key role in helping children learn to read. Our proven instructor-directed approach relies on parents playing a part in our dyslexia treatment for kids. Your child can become a competent, enthusiastic reader, thanks to our dyslexia reading tools and one-on-one instruction, without ever having to leave home.

A Parents’ Guide to Getting Started with Dyslexia 101

If you’re concerned about your child’s reading skills, Dyslexia 101 can help. Your first step toward empowering your children and building their confidence in school is to work with them to complete the online reading assessment.

Our one-hour home assessment:

  • Can determine with 98.6% accuracy whether your child has dyslexia, and to what extent.
  • Uses methodology in practice for more than 25 years.
  • Has been standardized with thousands of children.
  • Can predict future reading failure in children as young as 4 years old, who show early signs of dyslexia in kids.

The assessment includes 14 guided modules with instructions, examples, and practice trials, so you always know what to do. Each module covers a different skill necessary for reading, and you can pause the assessment at any time and pick up where you left off when you return.

After you and your child complete the assessment, you’ll receive an in-depth analysis of your child’s reading skills, with a report that explains to what extent dyslexia affects your child’s ability. This report is suitable for sharing with your child’s teachers, school counselor, and IEP or 504 plan team.
